ASPRS Student Chapter Petition Application
Article IX of the ASPRS Bylaws set forth the rules and procedure for establishing a Student Chapter. The process begins with a Petition signed by one Faculty Advisor and 3 students who will serve as the first set of officers of the Chapter. The Petition is created by completing this form with all the required information.
  • Upon receipt of this completed form, ASPRS staff will prepare the Petition document for signature by the Faculty Advisor and students.
  • The signed Petition will then be forwarded to the host Region for endorsement.
  • The Region will prepare a Charter, Bylaws, and Operating Procedures for the Chapter, which will be submitted to the Region Officers Council and ASPRS Board of Directors for final approval.
  • The ASPRS Executive Director will endorse the Charter and record the formation of the new Student Chapter in the Society records.
